Summary: Markd does not collect any personally identifying information. All of your habit data is stored on your device and is never sent off the device. The only exception is that, when you make an in-app purchase (upgrade to the Full Version), information required to process and restore the purchase is sent to Apple and to RevenueCat, our purchase infrastructure provider (see Section 4).

1. Information the App Handles

Markd does not collect personally identifying information (such as your name, email address, or account). The app runs primarily on your device.

Information stored only on your device:

  • Habit data — the names of your habits and the daily scores and notes you enter. Stored locally in an SQLite database on your device.

2. Where Data Is Stored

All habit data is stored locally on your device. Markd does not use any of its own external servers, databases, or cloud services.

  • iOS: Through the standard iOS backup feature, your app data may be automatically backed up to your iCloud account. This backup is managed entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
  • Android: Through the standard Android backup feature, your app data may be backed up to Google Drive. This backup is managed entirely by Google and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

3. What the App Does Not Collect

  • Behavioral or usage analytics
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Crash reports sent to external services
  • Location data
  • Contact information

4. In-App Purchases and Third-Party Services

Markd does not include any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking.

About in-app purchases (upgrade to the Full Version):

Only when you make an in-app purchase, in order to process and restore the purchase, purchase information (whether a purchase was made, the purchase date, the product identifier, transaction information issued by Apple, and an anonymous user identifier used to identify the purchase) is sent to:

This information is not linked to personally identifying information such as your name or email address, and is never used for advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your habit data is never sent to these third parties.

5. Deleting and Exporting Your Data

You can delete all habit data at any time by uninstalling the app. Because data is stored only on your device, uninstalling completely removes the data on the device.

Within the app’s Settings, you can permanently delete individual habits and their history. You can also export your data in JSON / CSV format from Settings, for backups or to move your data to another device.

If you have enabled iCloud Backup (iOS) or Google Drive Backup (Android), data may remain until you delete the backup from the respective platform settings.

Records of past in-app purchases are retained by Apple and RevenueCat to enable purchase restoration. For inquiries regarding this, please contact info@yamakraft.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

Markd is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Other Privacy Laws)

Markd does not collect or retain personally identifying information on any of our own servers (we do not operate such servers). All habit data resides on your device and is under your direct control. Information related to in-app purchases is processed by Apple and RevenueCat to process and restore the purchase.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
